We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support our government customer. In this role, you will provide expertise, recommendations, and direct support to numerous Army programs with a focus on quality assurance, requirements verification, and supplier oversight. The quality assurance specialist role will work side by side with Government personnel, contractors, and vendor representatives to ensure Army requirements are understood and verified leading to a high-quality product being delivered to the Warfighter.

You will directly contribute to the success of these programs by performing essential tasks such as production verification audits, first article tests, and product quality audits. Strong analytical skills will be needed to identify trends, evaluate quality procedures and plans, and properly assess root causes. This role will include periodic on-site surveillance inspections, product deliveries to the end user, and briefings to program leadership and external stakeholders.

The work environment will require a customer focus with close coordination, strong communication skills, proper planning and prioritization, and a desire to help the team achieve its goals.

Required:

• BS or BA degree
• 17 years of direct experience
• Experience with military aviation programs
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
• Some travel

Desired:

• Knowledge and experience with quality audit procedures
• Experience with Product Verification Audits, First Article Test, Critical Safety Items Audits and Product Quality Audits
