We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support the Organic Industrial Base (OIB) modernization program for the Army Materiel Command. In this role, you will ensure the financial viability and strategic success of critical Army modernization initiatives. You will be at the forefront of analyzing costs, supporting contract negotiations, and providing crucial insights to drive the development of next-generation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cost estimating and budget activities throughout the entire program life cycle, from concept to disposal.
• Offer valuable input and recommendations for cost-related activities, supporting acquisition teams, design-to-cost reviews, source selection evaluations, and should-cost analyses.
• Conduct in-depth cost and price analysis for key initiatives, identifying key drivers and potential areas for optimization.
• Analyze relevant reports, laws, regulations, and Office of Federal Policy guidelines to inform cost recommendations.
• Actively support Government Contracting Officials in the planning, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation of contractor proposals.
• Conduct detailed price analysis and develop clear, well-documented positions to support successful contract negotiations.

Required:

• BS or BA degree
• 8 years of cost and pricing experience
• Exceptional knowledge of Army procurement programs
• Expert knowledge of the Department of the Army Cost Analysis Manual
• Strong experience with cost estimating software
• Experience developing compliant Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
• Some Travel
• Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
