Description

The Senior Clinical Supervisor oversees Catholic Charities' outpatient behavioral health programs in Chelan and Douglas Counties, ensuring that the members of our community who are most in need have timely access to high-quality, evidence-based treatment. This position has primarily management and administrative duties in support of those who are providing direct client care. The Senior Clinical Supervisor provides guidance to the outpatient Clinical Supervisors and collaborates with staff in all locations to create consistency across the agency. This position has direct impact on staff development, providing clinical supervision toward licensure to therapists, collaborating on student internships, and coaching and training staff to enhance clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

Outpatient program oversight



  • Ensures that outpatient programs and staff meet all regulatory and statutory requirements per the WAC
  • Oversees caseloads to ensure proper level of care assignment, that case management services are provided as indicated, and that outpatient service providers maintain 60% productivity
  • Encourages and coaches staff in a manner consistent with the mission and vision of Catholic Charities
  • Facilitates and attends clinical meetings
  • Assists with the development and implementation of staff training
  • Assists with audit preparation or corrective action implementation as needed


Hiring



  • Assists in the hiring of outpatient behavioral health staff, including selecting supervisors or leads
  • Initiates recruitment process for new roles or refills when staff depart


Clinical supervision



  • Assigns, supervises, and monitors clinical activities of assigned supervisees through individual and group supervision, review of clinical records, and sitting in on sessions as applicable
  • Provides EBP clinical and administrativesupervision to assigned outpatient supervisors and clinical staff, including clinical supervision toward licensure
  • Conducts 6 month and annual performance evaluation for supervisees
  • Ensures staff performance meets agency productivity and documentation requirements
  • Develops and implements corrective action plans with staff to address performance issuesas indicated


Quality assurance



  • Implements and maintains fidelity to evidence-based clinical practices and programs
  • Participates in quality improvement activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Job Requirements:The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Physical Requirements:

This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill.

Non-Physical Requirements:

Education



  • Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field leading to eligibility for licensure


Experience



  • 3+ yearsof experience providing clinical supervision
  • Fully trained and recognized as a supervisor of Evidence Based Practices utilized by the agency (within one-year from date of hire)


Licensure, Registration, Certification



  • Independent licensure as Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Washington
  • Meets eligibility requirements to be Approved Clinical Supervisor in the State of Washington
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and required minimum liability for WA State
  • Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability provider


Special Skills



  • Possess and utilize effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community
  • Bilingual in English & Spanishpreferred, but not required


Employment is conditional upon:



  • Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required


Wage Range:$102,250 - $113,120 per year depending on experience

Sign On Bonus: $25,000 bonus (paid out in 4 installments with total of 51-month service commitment)

Relocation Assistance: up to $5000 for relocations over 50 miles
