About The Position
The Manager of Project Management supervises a team of co-workers to plan, organize, execute, control, support, audit, and report out on major distribution, substation, and generation infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities
* Lead a team to execute on Customer & Power Operations capital project and infrastructure buildout objectives through the application of and compliance with corporate and function project management processes and procedures.
* Work with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Project Schedulers, Project Management support groups, and the rest of the project team to deliver projects on schedule, in scope, and within budget.
* Supervise, train, and guide team members in the management and audit of capital projects; the review and approval of associated work orders and contracts; the analysis of scope and design change requests; the development of project justifications and statistical analysis; and the identification and control of risks to projects, programs and portfolios.
* Oversee the project management activities of team members in their analysis of progress and productivity, their cost monitoring, budget forecasting, and financial reporting, and their completion of service agreements and other related business requirements.
* Monitor and enforce standards, policies, and procedures established by Ameren Corporation and regulatory entities.
* Actively contribute to initiatives that help continuously improve the workgroup in areas such as budget compliance, project management procedures and activities, software applications, co-worker engagement, diversity and inclusion, and others that emerge in the organization.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university required. A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is Preferred. Seven or more years of relevant experience in project management is required - relevant experience includes managing large-scale projects, serving as a project lead on large projects, or having contractor management experience in like capacities. Three or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership experience required. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following: The successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of initiative and be results-driven, with an innate ability to meet stringent deadlines. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required along with a consistent demonstration of high integrity. An open display of stewardship with regard to Company resources is also expected of this candidate. Technical and functional expertise is preferred. Experience with financial applications such as Power Plan and API is preferred. Experience with EMPRV, TRIS, PeopleSoft and other PC tools is preferred. A knowledge of building systems, maintenance, operations, and construction practices preferred.

Compensation Range:

$128,700.00 - $199,500.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
