You will report to the Sr. Director of HR in Student Experience. You will partner with senior leaders as a trusted advisor-strengthening leadership effectiveness, shaping approaches to talent development, and supporting an engaged, empowered workforce positioned for success. You'll also balance strategy with care-using data and insight to inform decisions, while always recognizing and valuing the people who make the work possible.

What you'll do:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with senior executives to develop HR strategies that promote success through engaged and supported employees.
  • Balance organizational growth and transformation with care for people during times of change.
  • Lead HR projects that improve both employee experience and results.
  • Provide leadership to a small team of HRBPs, encouraging collaboration and agreement across larger departments.
  • Support organizational design plans-including reorganizations, restructure, and integration projects-with transparency and empathy.
  • Improve HR service delivery through innovation, technology, and people-focused solutions.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by influencing and supporting enterprise-wide practices and ensuring equity and belonging are woven into culture.

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that attract, retain, and grow top talent.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs that prepare us for the future.
  • Coach leaders to strengthen their effectiveness, team culture, and employee career development.

Employee Relations & Organizational Culture

  • Be a senior advisor on complex employee relations matters, balancing fairness, consistency, and compassion.
  • Partner with teams on investigations, supporting, fact-based, equitable resolutions.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, and results by listening to employee and manager feedback and guiding improvements.
  • Analyze engagement data and work with leaders to co-create solutions that strengthen employee experience.

HR Analytics & Data-Driven Decision-Making

  • Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and inform strategies that enhance both results and employee experience.
  • Track Indicators related to talent management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Leverage external market data and best practices to ensure HR strategies remain results and people focused.

Compensation, Benefits, & Compliance

  • Partner with the compensation team to apply and uphold equitable, and transparent pay practices.
  • Support leaders in applying compensation structures in their departments.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices, while communicating requirements.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to mitigate risks and ensure employees are informed and supported.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience-including employee relations, labor law, performance management, L&D, organizational development, and compensation/benefits-with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in HRIS and HR analytics tools. SNHU is a Workday partner.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $83,071.00 - $132,940.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $91,794.00 - $124,192.00.
