The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking 2 student employees to fill the role of Student Experience Ambassador. The Student Experience Ambassador supports the Student Employment and Student Financial Services offices by providing administrative help, assisting with promotional efforts, and engaging with students to increase awareness of available resources and opportunities. This position plays a key role in day-to-day office functions while also contributing to community outreach and event support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials (bulletin boards, flyers, digital content) for both offices.
  • Represent the Student Employment program by engaging with peers, sharing personal experiences, and promoting the benefits of student employment.
  • Conduct research on student employment programs at peer institutions to provide recommendations for enhancing and expanding campus offerings.
  • Support planning and execution of events and initiatives throughout the academic year.
  • Provide general office assistance, including triaging student appointments, printing and mailing student ID cards, and maintaining office organization.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment for students seeking information or assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program.
  • Work study part of financial aid package.
  • Students with work study may be prioritized.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
  • Comfortable speaking with peers and promoting campus resources.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Reliability and attention to detail.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
