Job Description

Job Title: Technical Trainer 3

Job Location: Tokyo Electron America, Inc., 7301 Metro Center Drive, Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78744

Duties: Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material. Work shift varies based on company need. Teach equipment training classes as scheduled (including customer onsite classes if required). Support the installation of new equipment in the training center. Order parts, tools, manuals, and supplies as required to support training needs. Perform routine preventive maintenance on training machines as necessary. Troubleshoots and repairs training machines as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of training classrooms and facilities. Generate monthly status updates and other reports for supervisor/manager as requested. Other duties as assigned.

Travel requirements: Domestically and Internationally required (up to 25% may be required)

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Industrial Management or related field. 6 years of experience working on Dry Etch Semiconductor Equipment or related occupation.

Skills requirement:

Experience completing preventative maintenance on dry etch semiconductor equipment.

Experience leading technical training on dry etch semiconductor equipment including tool maintenance, tool operations, equipment troubleshooting and equipment analysis as instructor.

Experience installing modifications of dry etching equipment.

Experience troubleshooting and repair of dry etch semiconductor equipment.

Experience installing dry etching equipment in a semiconductor facility.

Experience installing software on dry etching equipment including Linux operating systems.

Experience with corporate training and developing training courses.

Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
