| Job Summary  Our Automation and Controls Specialists are instrumental in building long-term customer relationships, solving problems, and making recommendations to improve customer-building systems. They will develop, build, test, and commission building systems such as HVAC, lighting, power, and monitoring. Duties & Essential Job Functions 
 Develop, build, test, and commission building controls systems to include programming equipment, condenser water plant sequence of operations, and modifications to the graphical interfaceParticipate in controls engineering review and provide input on design to identify gaps in sequence operabilityLeverage Niagara software tools such as the program service, BQL, and service suite to optimize productivityPerform in-depth hardware troubleshooting techniques, such as accessing defective hardware CLI through a serial connectionPerform BAS service and maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing control systems malfunctionsRespond to BAS emergencies during off-hoursPrepare documentation and reports of work status and completionMust complete Pathway and pass performance checkout, as well as hold the role for a minimum of 12 months, until you can progress to Controls Service Tech 3Hold and manage 200 annual contract hours Basic Qualifications 
 At least 2 years of professional experience with Tridium Niagara, Trane, and/or Distech), as well as any additional professional experience with1 or more BAS control platform, such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, and/or Siemens.At least 1 year of experience in developing, building, testing, and commissioning complete building control systems, including the graphical interface, from the ground upWorking knowledge of the installation, operation, and repair of commercial HVAC and control equipmentWorking knowledge of electrical circuits and systemsHigh school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree in a related fieldDistech GFX CertificationTridium Niagara 4 Certification Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, And Characteristics
