With minimal supervision, ensure proper functioning of responsible systems and/or equipment, possibly including but not limited to: mainframe, servers, phone systems, and/or online. Utilize systems and/or equipment of responsibility, and provide documentation to allow other users the best user experience.
May perform one or more of the following: Monitor and control computer and data processing equipment, possibly including (but not limited to) at least one of the following systems: mainframe, servers, batch processing, phone systems, online, and/or monitoring tools Provide, maintain, and update processes and procedures Provide assistance and issue resolution support for equipment and/or systems of responsibility; minimize impact to users and meet operation and service level agreements of the department; troubleshoot issues to provide the best user experience Track issues; conduct problem trend analysis, create process chart(s) to minimize outages, and perform other necessary analysis or reporting to improve problem resolution Operate computer and/or other systems/equipment to fulfill required work and overall improve system(s) performance ( batch processing, etc.) Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Knowledgeable of procedures relating to the area and suggest process improvements; aid in maintaining troubleshooting guides Prefer High School Diploma or equivalent with the ability to acquire skills through on-the-job training or equivalent experience Minimum 2 - 4 years related experience, preferably in computer center operations Ability to lift 50 lbs Excellent organization and time management skills Meet/exceed organization's best practices, expectations, and standards Excellent verbal communication skills #LI-VISIONCARE Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
