Position Description
Ensures the collection and sorting of various sized containers containing stock and non-stock materials. Maintains scrap metal containers sorted by type for all scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals collected. Refurbishes stock and non-stock materials when feasible. Supports Supply Chain Management functions as they pertain to Investment Recovery.
Essential Job Tasks:
Operate roll-off container truck and other associated equipment to deliver/collect/transport various material containers. Segregate collected materials ensuring proper distribution into designated bins. Identifies materials for refurbishment/repair. Refurbish/repair selected materials for return to active stock. Materials are inspected and packaged per guidelines/requirements outlined by HG Stores Supervisor and/or Manager, Material Planning & Supply. Coordinates with HG Stores Supervisor and/or Material Planning and Supply to ensure refurbished materials meet or exceed standards prior to the material being returned to active stock. Also works with Material Planning and Supply to adhere to and monitor type and quantity of refurbished materials to be returned to active stock. Utilizes the FIS Purchasing system in the preparation of specifications, Purchase Requisitions, LPOs, Releases, and Receipts to acquire equipment, parts, and services needed to accomplish assigned responsibilities. This duty is accomplished in compliance with corporate/unit policies/procedures. Assist Investment Recovery Agents in preparing for sales, donations, transfers, and disposing of materials. Coordinate transportation of material as requested by Investment Recovery Agents. Provide guidance to Investment Recovery Specialist B and C as well as contract labor and temporary Investment Recovery employees. Ensures the Investment Recovery North buildings, equipment, and tools are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner. Transports non-refurbished materials considered waste to the local landfill. Ensures proper sorting to minimizes landfill costs.
Position Requirements

Investment Recovery Specialist A
High School Diploma/GED +5 years experience. Class A CDL required within 1 year of hire date. Must have forklift certification.
Compensation Information
$23.85 - $29.80 (min.-mid.)
Investment Recovery Specialist B
High School Diploma/GED +2 years experience.Class A CDL required within 1 year of hire date. Must have forklift certification.
Compensation Information
$19.45 - $24.30 (min.-mid.)
Investment Recovery Specialist C
High School Diploma/GED required. Class A CDL required within 1 year of hire date. Must have forklift certification within six months of hire date.
Compensation Information
$15.80 - $19.70 (min.-mid.)
