Overview

Responsibilities

    Use a variety of simulation tools, coding languages, and statistical methods to analyze system-trade comparisons.
  • Develop system performance metrics that provide insights to Government customers and decision-makers.
  • Travel for quarterly working group meetings (within CONUS) and participate in additional training opportunities.
  • Develop models of tactical situations.
  • Prepare analytical product reports.
  • Brief technical material to Government leadership.
  • Analyze environmental data and impacts on real world platforms and sensors.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to improve the effectiveness of system capabilities.
  • Support system trade studies, warfare assessments, and create analytic products for DoD leadership decision-making.
  • Guide Concept of Operations development through analysis.
  • Interface with Subject Matter Experts to establish model assumptions.
  • Generate presentations communicating analysis methodology and results-for audiences ranging from MORS conferences to Flag Officers.
  • Apply machine learning and pattern recognition optimization techniques.


Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or a closely related field with a strong emphasis on data analytics, or currently in the process of obtaining such a degree.
  • Relevant coursework in math modeling, data structures, statistical analysis, and programming languages.


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,700.00/Yr. - USD $109,700.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
