Job Summary: Responsible for developing and managing Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts in accordance with organizational objectives by establishing strategic partnerships; negotiating agreements; monitoring compliance; ensuring product availability and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:
* Negotiates GPO contracts with vendors to ensure favorable terms and pricing structure
* Monitors vendor performance against established criteria and takes appropriate action when necessary
* Manages day-to-day operations of assigned GPO contracts including contract management and administration, budget tracking, and vendor communication
* Provides leadership on cross-functional teams related to GPO initiatives
* Develops and implements strategies to increase group purchasing opportunities and maximize savings
* Researches industry trends and best practices to identify areas for improvement within GPO programs
* Ensures all activities are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations

Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
* Minimum of three years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain management or contract negotiation
* Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of GPO contracting principles and practices, including managed care concepts and reimbursement methodologies
* Experience with GPO contract administration systems such as HealthTrend or similar
* Ability to travel up to 25%
