Under limited supervision, responsible for development of the organization's strategic plan(s).

Job Description:

The Strategy Planning Advisor will serve as a key strategic partner. This position plays a critical role in developing frameworks for strategic enablement, providing cross-functional support and collaboration, conducting research and analysis, and supporting executive projects in support of the SVP. This work directly contributes to the organization's strategy and performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analysis and other studies.
  • Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives.
  • Develops concepts into strategies including quantitative analyses and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability prior to presentation to senior management.
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes and makes recommendations to support the organization's growth objectives.
  • Pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes.
  • Completing special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.
  • Leading meetings and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination.
  • Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations.
  • Setting key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance.
  • Develops content, narratives and presentations in support of the SVP for internal and external audiences
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.

Strong communications and human relations skills.
