What you'll be doing

Baxter's core values guide the fast-paced US Commercial division of Advanced Surgery. The Senior Analyst, Commercial Operations will be responsible for supporting the US Sales and Marketing departments with backorder/allocation management, demand/supply planning, new product introductions, Customer Service improvement initiatives, oversight of promotional materials/samples, and reporting on important metrics through dashboards. The Senior Analyst will work closely with US Advanced Surgery Field Sales/Management and Marketing teams as well as Baxter's functional partners in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

  • Collaborating with US Marketing Managers to lead all aspects of inventory supply management activities, including the following:
  • Establishing customer level allocations for products with constrained inventory positions
  • Backorder, canceled order, auto-sub reporting and analysis
  • Field communications regarding backorder/inventory supply status and associated communication coordination with Baxter Center For Service (CFS)
  • Resolving customer ordering issues (kit codes, stuck orders, other issues) and providing the Field with updates regarding status and resolution
  • New product launch support
  • Recothrom emergency order and Recothrom direct program support
  • Working with Supply Chain partners to coordinate international Recothrom orders
  • Supporting Global monthly/quarterly demand plan forecasting and analysis
  • Handling product allocation process, working with marketing to ensure an equitable process is in place to support committed customers
  • Analyzing inventory, supply and demand to support business decisions such as when to air ship, or when to adjust allocations
  • Performing moderate to sophisticated data analyses in support of product strategies and supply continuity
  • Improving and leading global slow move, excess and discard process to minimize OCOS impact
  • Managing marketing holds, RMAs, "firesale", auto-sub, sample requests, and aerosafe container return processes
  • Supporting global demand planning to ensure appropriate inventory and product supply
  • Conduct impromptu analysis for Field Sales and Marketing teams as needed
What you'll bring
  • Meticulous self-starter with a strong analytical approach and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in collaborating and communicating effectively with team members from various departments within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Operations, Statistics, Supply Chain or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in forecasting, analysis, demand planning, finance, pricing, supply chain
  • Proficiency with MS office, Tableau and Rapid Response a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

The estimated pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
