Job Summary:

The Product Manager is the bridge between the technical Data & AI team and the NRG business segments. In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and downstream product teams to dene requirements and collaborate with the project team members to build value add data products/models that provide meaningful insights. In addition, you will help dene the longer-term product strategy and roadmap which aligns to the overall business objectives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed product requirements, product use cases and potential enhancement/features. Understand product value measures and be able to quantify the value using business cases or other non- nancial benets.
  • Build relationships with key technology and business teams to ensure success.
  • Lead product requirements meetings and ideation sessions with business stakeholders to align on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Governance, AI Governance, AI Technical Engineers, and Project Management teams to develop, test, and deliver high quality products and features.
  • Assist the Director Product Management to dene the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products and capabilities aligned to organizational and business goals.
  • Gather feedback from business stakeholders to maintain an actionable product backlog.
  • Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA / BS from an accredited university strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Prior product management experience with building and delivering successful data products and capabilities. Planning acumen and proven ability to break down work and dene an MVP, as well as subsequent iterations.
  • Experience with project management activities and working in agile / scrum teams.
  • Ability to deliver a nancial business case using IRR and NPV and the associated business drivers/metrics. Azure DevOps knowledge, Basic programming skills (SQL), experience with AWS cloud platform and Database technologies is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and gures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Occasional overtime work may be required.
  • Professional, fast paced, high intensity oce environment.
  • Hybrid role: 1-2 days per week in the oce, 3-4 days per week from home.
