Job Purpose

Responsible for testing products and/or systems in a lab, office, manufacturing, and/or field environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write test plans, conduct tests, and document results as required by engineering or design teams.
  • Develop and maintain operational and technical knowledge of the businesses product line.
  • Provide input on product improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of testing processes, methods and practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on a variety of items, including engineering specifications, drawings, manuals, processes, or bill of materials.
  • Work with internal teams and external sources to obtain and communicate data relative to engineering requirements.
  • Lead or participate in department improvement activities.
  • Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a field related to specific position is preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience ina related position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical test procedures and use of test equipment.
  • Knowledge of HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) procedures is preferred.
  • Well-developed problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
  • Above average math skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Travel may be necessary, based on position.
