Primary responsibility for delivering food orders to guests; assembling and delivering To Go orders when necessary; assisting with setting tables; clearing tables and bar; refreshing tables; cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs and booths; and supporting any bar service activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transports food orders to guests in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assists guests and servers and in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cleans and polishes glassware, flatware, and equipment.
  • Removes dirty items from tables, cleans and sets tables with silverware, glassware and china, assemble roll wraps, fill water glasses.
  • Supports bar staff with clearing soiled items; restocking ice, glassware, liquor, beer, wine and paper supplies.
  • Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. from dining room to kitchen and/or bar.
  • Accurately assembles, fills, and delivers To Go orders when necessary.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties to departmental standard. Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Performs all duties on the runner checklists.
  • Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    • 6 months to 1-year related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment.
    • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about.
    • The employee frequently is required to operate and use station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management.
    • The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
