The Payroll & Benefits Partner assists in managing and processing payroll for the organization. This role helps ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and effective management of payroll data in Workday and ADP. The Payroll & Benefits Partner will also assist with day to day administration of employee benefit programs, leaves of absence, and compliance reporting.

Main Responsibilities

Payroll Operations:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Handle complex payroll issues, including adjustments, tax compliance, garnishments, and benefit deductions.

  • Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure proper reporting of earnings, taxes, and deductions.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, etc.).

Compliance and Audit:

  • Help the Benefits & Payroll Lead coordinate and support audits related to payroll and Workday, including internal, external, and regulatory reviews.

  • Partner with Insurance department for quarterly Workers Compensation audits

Open Enrollment:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of annual open enrollment, including system setup, employee communications, and coordination with vendors.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS systems and ensure timely updates for new hires, terminations, and life events.

Required Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).

Location Requirements

  • Remote - Flexible Location

  • Work is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships.

Compensation | Benefits:

The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $55,000-$65,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate'sgeographic location, consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.
