DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Licensing Representative, your role involves performing inspections to enforce state laws and regulations related to the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences. This ensures the health, safety, and well-being of clients in these facilities. Duties include conducting inspections related to complaints and incidents, as well as interviewing residents, staff, family members, and other relevant individuals during the licensing process. You will review technical medical, legal, and programmatic documents. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance and guidance to operators and staff of personal care homes and assisted living residences to help them comply with state laws and regulations. You will also travel, as necessary, throughout the Southeast Region (including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) to conduct licensing inspections. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Southeast Region (which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) by the time of hire.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
