Job Summary

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding our users' needs and behaviors, translating these insights into actionable recommendations, and championing user-centric design principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence product strategy, ensuring they meet and exceed user expectations. You will utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys and data analytics tools, to gather and analyze data on user behavior, preferences, and usage patterns. You will analyze and synthesize user data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in the user experience. You'll apply strategic thinking, design thinking, and rigorous research methods to address complex user problems, balancing user needs with business objectives.

Responsibilities


  • Lead end-to-end user research initiatives across functional domains to guide product strategy and design decisions

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, card sorting, personas, benchmarking studies, etc.) to uncover user behaviors, needs, pain points, and opportunities

  • Synthesize research data into compelling, actionable insights-through storytelling, personas, journey maps, workshops, presentations, or reports-that drive user-centric decision-making

  • Translate research insights into clear, actionable recommendations that directly inform product strategy, design decisions, and business priorities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations for UX research (scope, effort, timelines), and foster communication and teamwork to proactively explore, ideate, validate, and socialize solutions

  • Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research

  • Incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research planning, execution, and analysis


Qualifications


  • 7+ years of mixed methods research experience

  • At minimum bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Statistics)

  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods

  • Experience with statistical and data analysis tools

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated experience working on complex, highly technical B2B products

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Proven track record of leading successful research initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience working in a global team is preferred


The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 107,000 - 161,000 CAD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
