The Technical Writer will be able to create, review, update, and validate technical manuals to ensure operational and maintenance procedures are in accordance with the latest supplied source data. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:


Duties:



  • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation that incorporates information and data from customers, end users, and other departments.
  • Developing high-quality documentation with minimal guidance that is coherent and easy to follow as well as complies with corresponding standard, style guide, and/or directive and meets the customers' and end users' needs.
  • Format documents into provided, approved standard operating procedure documents.
  • Participate in reviews, audits, and meetings; maintain file organization and metrics


Desired Experience:



  • 0-2 years equivalent relevant work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft products to include: PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft products to include: Teams, Project, Excel, and Visio
  • Proficient in desktop publishing software
  • Editing technical documentation for format, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to government specifications


Desired Education:



  • Associate's Degree


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
