As Sr. Solutions Architect (User Interface), you'll lead with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable user interfaces and associated backing services and datastores. The successful candidate will lead a team of full stack software and data engineers and play a critical hands-on role in architecting, deploying, and managing a unified user interface to our customer's modern data exchange capability. - Lead planning, development, and deployment of user interface components and services
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize user interface performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor user interface performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
- Drive security best practices throughout the user interface, implementing measures to safeguard data, applications, and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to minimize downtime.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Technical Architect, Lead or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly.
- Expert-level hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure user interfaces supporting functions such as search, graph navigation, data exploration, and catalog management in the cloud at IL6+.
- Proficiency in AWS with a deep understanding of cloud services at IL6+.
- Strong experience with architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining UIs, APIs, and data structures/stores leveraging frameworks such as React, NextJS, Angular, and Node.js.
- Expert level hands-on experience with designing and developing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert level hands-on experience with one or more of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, JavaScript.
- Strong experience leading, managing, and mentoring a "two pizza team" of full stack developers and data engineers responsible for component implementation, testing, and automated CI/CD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
SALARY RANGE: $217,000 - $318,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
