OverviewThe Microsoft Teams Design team is looking for a talented Product Designer II to help define and design compelling experiences that empower teams to achieve more together. You'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of how our users stay on top of critical communications, as well as consider the role AI plays in terms of optimizing notifications for both staying informed and caught up, as well as being able to focus on critical work without distraction. ResponsibilitiesEstimate time requirements for design tasks and deliverablesDefine product design needs using user insights and business goalsIdentify and raise unspoken user needs to senior team membersSupport synthesis of user research and data to uncover broader issuesGenerate and articulate design ideas from multiple perspectives (user, business, tech)Facilitate ideation sessions and design sprintsRapidly prototype new product concepts with guidance from senior designersPresent prototypes to teams and customers for feedbackUse digital and physical tools to demonstrate design intentEnsure prototypes align with brand standards and advocate for best-in-class toolsCollaborate with Engineering to support design implementationConduct QA to ensure pixel-perfect executionIterate on designs during development to optimize user experienceContribute to visual design from concept to final deliveryCreate visual assets such as mood boards, storyboards, icons, layouts, and redlinesSupport the development of a cohesive visual language for productsCreate wireframes, journey maps, personas, and task flowsDeliver interaction design artifacts at various levels of fidelityAssist in enhancing product UX through detailed interaction modelsEnsure designs support intuitive and effective user experiences | |
