OverviewMicrosoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, the Global Project Controls (GPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The Microsoft portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services. We are seeking an experienced Integrated Planner - AI Training Data Centers with data analytics and business intelligence experience to join the Global Project Controls team within CO+I Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). The successful candidate will support the team's Rhythm of Business (ROB) and collaboration with cross-functional team counterparts. Your responsibilities will include project planning, general contractor schedule management, facilitating project risk identification, and engaging in strategic business planning activities. The ideal candidate should have a well-rounded understanding of Construction Project Controls or Construction Management practices and principles. Also, they must have a high level of attention to detail, excellent technical writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines; be highly collaborative, self-motivated, problem solving, and comfortable with taking the lead on projects/initiatives. This role is located Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the site location. ResponsibilitiesPlanning Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) including timelines and dependencies for large-scale datacenter construction projects. Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time. Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. General Contractor(GC)Procurement & Construction Schedule Baseline Management Work closely with the site leadership ensure theGCBaseline Schedule meets the standards and requirements defined within the DIV1 Specification. Complete theGCBaseline Evaluation process and provide recommendations. Carry out theGC ProposalSchedule Evaluations and provide evaluation narrative and scores. Schedule Analysis and Reporting Facilitate andparticipatein weekly schedule reviews onsite with GC schedule teams to analyze andvalidateprogress onsite. Proactively analyzeproject schedulesby;comparing cost/resource curves to actuals, tracking float consumption, perform schedule integrity (health) checks, carry-out delay impact analysis,monitormonthly performance and carry out variance analysis supporting Baseline Management and Change Control processes throughout the Project Lifecycle Carry out and communicate Schedule Time Impact Assessments of schedule delay events and recommend mitigation strategies to recover and/or control the impacts. Identifyand mitigate threats to the project's schedule andinitiatecorrective actions through field staff. Analyze resource loading and recommend adjustments / corrective action asappropriate. Assess impacts of design and/orlong leadequipmentchanges and provide recommendations to mitigate/recover the schedule. Provide final review of schedules for estimating asrequested.
