Seeking:

A highly motivated and experienced Director of Shared Services is sought to lead North America finance operations and drive continuous improvement within the shared services organization.

Job Summary:

The Director of Shared Services will oversee and optimize the company's North America shared services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger functions. This role is vital for improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the shared services team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulations.
  • Support the cash forecasting and liquidity management processes.
  • Drive standardization and automation of shared services processes through technology.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to meet customer needs, compliance, and internal control requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with departments like Human Resources and Procurement for seamless integration of shared services.
  • Lead change management for shared services transformation and foster innovation.
  • Support efforts to enhance procurement activities and ensure accurate payment and data input.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant progressive experience in financial shared services or consulting role in a large organization.
  • Solid and deep understanding of all technical aspects of accounting, generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, business operations, and internal controls.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet oversight.
  • Experience in a CAS/FAR environment and knowledge of defense supply chain and purchasing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to adeptly interact and present to executive level management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and sustain a highly engaged team.
  • Proven success in leading transformation and automation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge analytical tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to analyze, interpret and organize a wide variety of data information and ideas in various forms and formats.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Master's degree in relevant business, technical or related field
  • Experience in public accounting and or private industry with knowledge of finance, accounting and financial planning and reporting, with at least 10 years in a leadership role in a large organization
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, Oracle, Alteryx, Tableau
  • Experience with analytics, data mining and modeling, and visualization tools
  • Understanding of internal control concepts and some experience in applying them to perform various business processes, areas, and functions
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
