Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Herndon, VA (Remote w/ability to attend local events as needed)

Foxhole Technology is currently seeking a Talent Acqusition Specialist for a contract to hire scenario. As a trusted business partner and advisor, you will play a crucial role in partnering with hiring managers to own full recruitment lifecycle including identifying hiring needs, sourcing candidates, conducting candidate interviews, and onboarding new team members. Your expertise in full-cycle recruitment and exceptional communication skills will be instrumental in attracting and retaining talented individuals who align with our company's values and growth objectives. You will also be responsible for enhancing our employer brand to ensure that we consistently attract top talent.



Job Description

    Manage the end-to-end recruitment and hiring process for technical and operational roles through close partnership with hiring managers
  • Develop sourcing strategies, screen/assess candidates, craft offers, handle negotiations, close candidates, and onboard new team members.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with hiring partners and interview teams, acting as a trusted adviser and coach to support the best hiring decisions and ensuring interview best practices are maintained.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives related to candidate experience, including interview best practices, hiring manager/team training, and wider employer branding tactics.
  • Ensure best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory issues regarding federal and state employment law as it relates to recruiting, hiring and onboarding new team members.
  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships, ensuring the application of best practices and confidentiality.
  • Staying current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, military groups and industry associations.
  • Create and manage recruitment-focused social media content to attract top talent, highlight company culture, and promote open roles and hiring initiatives.
  • Comple timely talent acqusition metrics and reports on activity.
  • Attend in person job fairs, internal meetings and industry events as required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years professional Information Technology recruiting experience
  • While this position is primarily remote, must be able to attend onsite job fairs, industry events, and internal meetings in the DC/VA/MD area as required.
  • Experience working for a government contractor recruiting cleared Information Technology professionals.
  • Hands on experience with various selection and hire processes (phone interviewing, reference check, background check, new hire paperwork, etc.)
  • Experience with recruiting software and ATS. iCIMS preferred.
  • Expertise conducting in-depth initial interviews and accurately assessing candidate quality and potential
  • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement while driving best practices in candidate sourcing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Experience regularly communicating status and outcomes to hiring managers and business leaders
  • A consistently positive attitude, strong desire to deliver in an autonomous environment
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage, inspire, and influence people and champion team member needs
  • Ability to think and act strategically and adjust to meet business needs while working independently


Desired Experience/Certifications

  • BS Degree preferred.
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruiting certifications
