Requisition ID req34298 Working Title HR Analyst Position Grade 11 Position Summary The University of New Mexico's (UNM) Office for Academic Personnel (OAP) is seeking a customer -focused, forward-thinking HR Analyst to support Main and Branch Campus faculty, staff, administration, and leadership regarding implementation of and compliance with University policies, procedures, guidelines and compliance with current collective bar gaining agreements. OAP is the Human Resource office for approximately two thousand faculty and three thousand graduate assistantship holders. OAP is responsible for detailed review and data entry for approximately 2,000 faculty transactions annually. These transactions include compensation changes, special administrative components, appointment changes, etc. OAP is also responsible for hiring over 100 faculty annually and 3,000 assistantship holders annually. OAP receives approximately 2/3 of all hir es and transactions between May and August. This is a customer service focused position requiring good communication skills and the ability to solve problems. You will work with Schools and Colleges to address questions about faculty job records and provide advice on UNM best practices for maintaining job records. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
