Position Summary:

• The EVS Team Leader provides support to the managers and acts as department contact person in their absence.
• Effectively communicates operation issues to the Operations Managers and Director upon their return or as necessary to ensure effective departmental operations.
• Trains new hires as well as current employees.
• The Team Leader is responsible for the cleanliness of assigned areas and may perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis, despite frequent interruptions.
• May spend considerable time outdoors transporting debris to compactors, picking up debris, and sweeping.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.

Shift:

Full-time, Evening shift (40 hrs per week)

3:00pm - 11:30pm

Every other weekend required

Location: Suburban Hospital,

8600 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 3-5 years related work experience required

Salary Range: Minimum 18.57/hour - Maximum 30.64/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
