Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Technician!
We're seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Harmony at the Park, a 325-unit affordable housing community in Phoenix. This role is key in maintaining our three residential buildings, ensuring all apartments, common areas, and building systems are kept in top condition. You'll take a lead role in diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues, coordinating with vendors, and providing outstanding customer service to our residents.
What you'll oversee as a Senior Maintenance Technician:
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliance, pool, and structural issues.
- Manage and complete service requests using property management software.
- Oversee apartment make-readies and ensure all units are prepared prior to move-in.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper use and storage of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Supervise vendor work in the absence of the Area Maintenance Supervisor.
- Prepare property for seasonal weather needs and perform preventive maintenance.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and team members.
What makes you a great candidate for this role?
- 3+ years' experience in property/building maintenance or related trade.
- EPA Universal or Type II HVAC and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required.
- Skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliance repair, and pool systems.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and insurable driving record.
- Strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and work flexible schedules.
