Machine Assembler

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for a Machine Assembler to join our team in Batavia, OH. As a Machine Assembler you will Build machines, equipment and their subassemblies and following the mechanical layout and the general assembly layouts and other written and verbal specification.

Work You'll Do:

• Uses necessary prints/drawings, tools, and specifications to build/assemble machines, equipment, and subassemblies following all quality and safety standards.
• Reports labor hours correctly and in a timely manner.
• Practices good communication and interacts professionally with others in the plant
• Produces quality work in the time frame that consistently meets or exceeds set expectations.
• Operates overhead cranes and any other equipment needed to move large machine parts or to complete the job.
• Complete lockout / Tag out on down machines, as necessary.
• Adheres to the 5-S standards in the work area keeping areas clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized.
• Communicates any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials lists, etc.
• Interacts with the teams on other shifts to obtain positive results on productivity and quality.
  

Team:

This role will be part of the Injection Main Assembly team.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
