Position Summary:
The University of Wisconsin - Platteville is seeking a Laboratory Manager tooversee technical activities, operations, and assist with coordinating policy development within the chemistry labs.The position involves coordinating laboratory course experiments, ensuring quality control, and compliance with regulations.This includes managing and overseeing the physical and logistical aspects of laboratory course experiments, managing hazardous waste, supervising student workers, and assisting with budget management.The preferred candidate would also be able to also serve as a Chemical Hygiene Officer. This is a full-time, 12-month position with a starting salary of $53,900 per year, commensurate with experience.
