Under the direction of the Vice President of Strategic Growth & Engagement, the Director of Market Expansion will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow Didlake's presence in domestic markets with an initial focus on the North and Mid-Atlantic regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills to help drive growth, establish partnerships, and optimize market entry approaches. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of disability services, inclusive practices, as well as the broader environment (e.g., employment, education, accessibility). Experience working within or in partnership with nonprofits, government agencies, or social enterprises that serve individuals with disabilities. The candidate must have experience in identifying and expanding into new markets through strategic visioning and execution. The position requires a candidate to be skilled in communications and engagement with demonstrated experience successfully positioning an organization for entry into varied geographic markets. The candidate must have experience conducting market research, community needs assessments and analysis to guide the decision and process for market entry.
