OVERVIEW:

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for successfully managing a portfolio of IT projects of varying sizes and complexity across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in project management and has a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions in dynamic, cross-functional environments. In addition, this role will assist the PMO Director in managing the implementation of Dynamics 365 ERP, which is currently underway.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • ERP Implementation

    • Monitor and manage project tasks using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely updates and follow-through to completion.
    • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Proactively track and manage project risks, action items, issues, and decisions using a RAID log.
    • Support project financial oversight by tracking expenditures and assisting with budget reporting and forecasting.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the ERP implementation.


  • Other IT Projects

    • Define and oversee project scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external vendors, and executive sponsors throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and interdependencies.
    • Drive project governance and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, change control processes, and compliance requirements.
    • Produce and present clear, timely updates and executive-level reporting on project health, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.




Required Education and Certification



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex IT projects.


Required Skills and Abilities



  • Understanding of ERP system architecture, data migration, system integrations, and business process alignment preferred.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of and experience with one or more Project Management software systems (Microsoft Project, Project Insight).
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentations (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands.


Physical Demands and Travel Requirements

Physical Demands - Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk (must be able to speak and communicate clearly.) Employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary. Employee must be sharp, focused, and alert when interacting with employees, managers, and leadership personnel.

Travel Requirements - Minimal travel is expected for this role. Occasional travel may be required for conferences or branch office visits in support of a project.

In Office Requirements - This is a hybrid position, and the amount of time spent onsite at the Houston office may vary based on the needs of each project.

The Salary Range for this position is $95,800 - $120,000 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
