The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $20.50 - $28.69 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Team Manager(s), Administrative team/peers, Head Coaches and Coaches on a daily basis.
  • Correspond with Team families via various approved communication platforms and channels - team application, email, and telephone/text.
  • Correspond with Coaches via various approved communication platforms and channels - team application, email, and telephone/text, as well as radio during training days.
  • Answer phone and voicemail on behalf of the Team Manager.
  • Create alerts, notifications and updates for families and coaches.
  • Assist other staff members as needed. Support hosts in their needs.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems using approved tools/methods (online in Microsoft SharePoint).
  • Support new and existing initiatives, programs, and processes as directed.
  • Order snacks from F&B ahead of time for training days.
  • Maintain athlete, group, and coach rosters in team application with increased rate of re-assigning athlete to different groups during the early weeks of teams.
  • Track and coordinate with head coaches any special requests.
  • Request additional material for appeal requests if/when needed.
  • Always ensure accuracy of each team roster.
  • Support athlete onboarding in person (supplying Kindervests, answering questions from families, meeting uniform standards, helping with season pass).
  • Ensure program payments are complete and are correct for each athlete.
  • Assist families with payment challenges/facilitate resolution of payment issues.
  • Resolve any mismatches between payments and team registrations.
  • Teach coaches proper use of time clocks on terminal and/or smart phones.
  • Assist coaches with timecards completion (daily).
  • Follow-up with manual timecard process and/or payroll adjustment.
  • Follow company and Team standards and guidelines for resolving any timecard issues and corrections.
  • Support hiring, training, performance, and review processes for coaches.
  • Assist with on-/off-boarding of seasonal employees. Follow company and Team standards and guidelines for on-/ offboarding processes.
  • Ensure employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Submit expense reports for coaches while verifying the validity of each expense.
  • Assist coaches with use and management of team application (new platform this season!).
  • Assist coaches and parents with questions in person during drop-off and pick-up.
  • Communicate with staff via radio, especially with regard to incident response.
  • Communicate with and respond to Teams Palisades Tahoe and Palisades Tahoe guests and employees as required.
  • Ensure active collaboration inter- and intra-departmentally.
  • Prepare and maintain safety meetings
  • Ensure safety meetings are held each week, including a signed attendance sheet
  • Assist in incident documentation.
  • Assist in person in case of athlete or employee incidents.
  • Call family members when an athlete is involved in an incident.
  • Collaborate with Team's incident manager.


Competencies and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Required: Strong expertise in Excel, Outlook, MS Teams (web & desktop-based), PowerPoint, Word.
  • Telephone and Voicemail Management: Ability to manage phone/voicemail systems effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Effective oral and written communication, both internally and externally.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-quality service to families in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Guest Service and Safety Awareness: Strong sense of guest service and athlete/coach safety.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and proficiency in using MS OneDrive/SharePoint for storing and sharing documents in designated locations. Strong capability in sorting and organizing large volumes of internal and external information across various formats, including emails, texts, phone calls, updates, and alerts.
  • Forward-Thinking: Strong desire to advance with new processes, systems, and solutions.
  • Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Additional Knowledge: Team management solutions/CRM solutions, familiarity with Inntopia and RTP, credit card processing systems, winter sports industry.
  • On-Site Availability: Must work on-site, including weekends and holidays, from October to April/May. Consistently punctual.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 10-20% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift. Must be capable of

occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 35lbs. Must be capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will often be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate during the day, but loud and busy at times when coaches arrive at the beginning or end of their shifts.
