Standard JD: below Role: 25% Receives all telephone calls and assists visitors promptly, professionally, and courteously. Screens visitors and phone calls prior to transfer or meeting. Handles issues and/or errors in member service maintaining a positive attitude without negative reflection on the staff member, member or department responsible. Looking at about 25-30 calls per day. The PHONES do start ringing at 8:30am! Transfer those calls 99% of the time. 25% Assists the Director of Company Culture & Connection with various projects and performs routine office tasks necessary for the operation of MFM, such as clerical assistance, data entry, and additional assignments. 20% Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment. Handles facility questions and issues, including contacting outside vendors. Plans, schedules, and directs maintenance of buildings and grounds. 10% Maintains, updates, and ensures the accuracy of culture-related systems/software, as well as the Culture & Connection SharePoint Intranet page. Assists with travel and lodging arrangements for staff within the organization, as well as receipt management for some manager and executive level staff. 10% Distributes mail and deliveries to the appropriate mailbox or department as needed. Provides delivery service labels and assistance in mailing outbound packages. Cleans and organizes the reception area and lobby daily and ensures the reception area is staffed 100% of the time. 5% Assists with sponsored employee services and activities designed to enhance organizational culture and connection, as well as employee communications, service award programs, sponsored sports, fund raising, and social activities and food service operations. Serves on the company's CARE Committee. Recommends new programs or changes to existing programs. 5% Other job-related duties as assigned. Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
