We are looking for a motivated PC Technician for a 2 month+ project to help support the IT Teams in Metairie and in New Orleans. This person will be responsible for working alongside the desktop team and will be taking escalated calls from the helpdesk and being the onsite IT support person for all hardware/software issues. This person will work tickets in ServiceNow, utilize Active Directory, and troubleshoot various IT Hardware/software issues, email issues, Microsoft office issues, access issues, new asset request and installs, etc. This person will be a representative and face of the IT department so need to display professionalism and have good customers service and communication skills. This person may also help with project based work such as hardware deployments, department moves, hardware/software upgrades, etc. Technical responsibilities include: hardware & software break/fix and troubleshooting, imaging PCs using SCCM, deploying hardware, cable management, customer support, software support. Candidates must have experience with PC installations, imaging/re-imaging, file transfer, network connectivity, customer service, etc. LCMC can train on SCCM and cable management. This will be a 2 month+ contract to start with a good chance to get extended to 2026.
