JOB DESCRIPTION:

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Under limited supervision, provide daily support, guidance and assistance to the Loan Servicing Specialists team in boarding and coding of all loans, as well as, validating systems to ensure the integrity of the Loan Accounting System.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job
  1. Provides direction to Loan Servicing Specialist team members in boarding and coding the Loan Accounting System based on the loan terms set forth in the executed loan documents, as expressed in the credit approval.
  1. Assist Loan Servicing Specialists team members with boarding customized loan requirements, such as separate rate availability, sub-notes, terms for individual advances, SWAPS, BLA requirements, etc.
  1. Assigns and monitors maintenance activities including customer address changes, automatic payment set-up/changes, payment scheduling/billing, interest rate adjustments, tickler updates and other coding changes.
  1. Oversees the daily Loan Boarding and Callback logs, ensuring that all loans received within department cut off times are boarded each day. Addresses the handling of late packages according to department guidelines and escalates when necessary.
  1. Ensures that all loans boarded, all monetary and maintenance transactions and the evidence of callback have been accounted for, to include: corrections. Ensures all source documents are present and filed with the appropriate daily work package each day.
  1. Responds to requests for loan information and researches and resolves loan accounting issues/problems as required.
  1. Identifies and recommends ways to improve efficiency of the processes used in performing tasks carried out by the loan boarders and associates responsible for call back. Assists in drafting procedures and training associates on changes to processes.
  1. Assists with the review and testing of new releases and system enhancements on Fiserv's Premier Navigator Loan Accounting System.
  1. Performs other general clerical functions as needed for the department such as copying, typing, filing, mailing, ordering supplies, preparing documents for imaging and subsequently storage.
  1. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers
  1. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Fiserv Premier Applications

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

10-key, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

LOCATION

This position is located at the Operation Center. Modest travel to the Corporate Office and business financial center locations maybe required.

Salary Range:$21.56 To $29.11 Hourly
