SERVICE CENTER LEAD Service Center Lead manages and coordinates tool and equipment procurement for active construction projects. This role requires a customer-service mindset, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction tools, equipment, and materials. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to balance office-based and field-facing support. The role includes moderate travel to regional offices and job sites to establish in-person relationships with project teams and operations staff, followed by remote support from those locations or a home office. Qualifications: Required: 
 
 
 High School Diploma1-2 years of customer service experience2-4 years of warehouse, procurement, warehouse operations, tool management in a construction settingKnowledge of construction tools, equipment types, and industry-standard materials.1-2 years of proficient use of an inventory/order tracking systemComfortable with travel to field/regional offices and hybrid/remote work models.Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 3-6 months of hire

 Office and Travel: 
 
 
 Moderate--travel to regional offices and job sites to establish in-person relationships with project teams and operations staff
 
 Responsibilities and Tasks: Order Management 
 
 
 Coordinate, process, and track orders for construction tools, consumables, and equipment.Ensure all orders align with project timelines and budgetary guidelines.Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and deliveries going in and out of the warehouse.Reorder inventory as needed based on levels predetermined by forecast. 
 
 Customer Service & Communication 
 
 
 Serve as the primary point of contact for tooling inquiries from field teams.Communicate clearly with project managers, superintendents, and vendors.Follow up with field teams after deliveries to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.Use feedback as a loop for continuous improvement in procurement and service processes.
 
 Vendor & Inventory Coordination 
 
 
 Source tools and materials from approved vendors and distributors.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams or jobsite contacts.Ensure tools are appropriately assigned, tracked, and accounted for.Coordinates service and repair work with appropriate vendor on a need be basis. 
 
 Field Support & Delivery to Jobsites 
 
 
 Travel periodically to regional offices and jobsites to build relationships with local teams.Support on-site tool logistics and ensure alignment with field expectations.
 
 Ability to drive truck and trailer 1 to 2 days per week.  
 
 
 Loads, unloads and secures material in a safe, professional manner.Document travel time to jobsites and bill accordingly.Coordinates deliveries with onsite point of contact.
 
 Organization & Reporting 
 
 
 Maintain tool tracking systems and procurement logs.Perform general inspection and maintenance of equipment returned to warehouse.Provide regular status reports to leadership and support process improvement.
 
 Other Duties as assigned 
 
 
 Participate as an active member of the Dallas and Six Side Supply Teams. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to align efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Other duties as assigned.
