Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot FANUC controllers and identifying related failure modes for the purpose of repairing, and restarting CNC equipment - Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder and block logic to repair and replace motors, amplifiers, transducers, servos and sensors - Align and level CNC spindles, turrets and tail stocks and other related equipment - Use machine tool manuals, technical documents and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues for repair - Support preventive maintenance schedule - Prioritize machine maintenance requests to ensure production downtime is minimized -Collaborate with internal teams to support continuous improvement efforts with a focus on preventing recurring failure Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - 3+ years of experience working in a related environment with CNC equipment - Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance - Hands on troubleshooting, teardown and repair experience - Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation - Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic - Previous experience with FANUC robots, controllers and peripheral equipment on R30iB and R30iA or similar control platforms - Previous experience with FANUC application software and programming preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
