About this role

Position Summary:

The Electrical Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in an industrial or commercial setting. This position supports senior technicians and electricians by performing basic duties such as running conduit, wire trays, pulling wire, and learning proper wire termination techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in installing electrical conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid, etc.) according to layout diagrams and blueprints.
* Support the installation of cable trays and wire management systems.
* Pull electrical wiring through conduit and trays under the guidance of experienced electricians.
* Learn and begin assisting with wire terminations, panel wiring, and labeling.
* Operate hand and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks.
* Help maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE.
* Participate in job site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
* Assist in inventory and material handling for electrical components and tools.
* Take direction from senior technicians and be open to learning and development.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Trade school or vocational training in electrical work preferred but not required.
* 0-2 years of experience in electrical or construction-related work.
* Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials.
* Willingness to learn electrical systems, including schematics and blueprints.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces).
* Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work on multiple job sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
* Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
