The full salary range for the Financial Analyst III is $75,900.00 - $137,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $106,600.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Under the general supervision of the Post Award Accounting Manager, the Financial Analyst III is responsible for the accounting, reporting, and cash drawdowns on federal Letters of Credit (LOCs) for research, development, and student aid funds. Serving as a core member of the Extramural Funds team, this position requires knowledge in cash management, forecasting techniques, advanced data analysis skills, and the interpretation and application of complex policies and guidelines. This position reviews contract and grant agency terms and conditions to ensure adherence to UC Office of the President (UCOP) and UC Riverside audit requirements, as well as coding requirements on incoming federal awards. In the absence of the Extramural Funds Manager, the Financial Analyst III serves as the lead accountant, providing operational oversight and technical guidance to the team.
