What The Role is:

As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape digital marketing content that aligns with our enterprise and marketing objectives for the Cadence Bank brand and its products and services. You'll help create and manage engaging and relevant channel-specific experiences targeted with helpful information and user-friendly calls to action. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital CX and digital content and has a solid knowledge of website, SEO, social media, email marketing and basic HTML.

How You Will Make an Impact:



  • Be the point person for the day-to-day management of Cadence Bank website properties including new page development, ongoing page updates, working with agency partners, and coordinating website release schedules
  • Provides others with reliable information and delivers informative and persuasive presentations. Uses good listening skills and negotiates effectively.
  • Collaboratively engages with leaders to create, identify, and implement digital marketing solutions to further the effectiveness of the business
  • Interface with Senior Management and external agencies that help support the website projects and initiatives for seamless execution and on-time delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring content and creative is SEO-friendly and that copy drives qualified traffic to and engagement with Cadencebank.com and its affiliate websites
  • Collaborate on content strategies to develop a messaging approach and calls to action that prompt users along the buyer journey
  • Perform content audits to ensure website content is current, accurate, relevant to customer needs, and aligned with Cadence's marketing goals and brand voice
  • Conduct SEO keyword research to support website content development efforts
  • Report, analyze and be able to interpret website performance metrics to inform the website marketing strategy and ensure continued optimizations and improvement
  • Analyze trending topics to proactively identify opportunities and emerging issues.
  • Assist in coordinating the in-house development of creative assets such as e-books, infographics and tip sheets.


Who You Are:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field
  • 7 or more years of related work experience in website content development, digital marketing or social media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing skills
  • Understanding of how to position content and digital experiences to various buyer personas and to the buyer journey
  • Strong critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management, organization and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution
  • Proficient in Google and/or Microsoft product suite (Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, Slides/Powerpoint, Google Forms) and measurement software such as Google Analytics and Sitecore Analytics
  • Experience using a project management platform
  • Has a good understanding of competitor and industry dynamics
  • Self-starter, shows initiative and accountability for assignments, and able to work independently and as a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interface and collaborate daily with various internal and external partners
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ideal candidates will have experience using various content management systems (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Sprout Social, Moz, Sitecore, etc.)
  • Experience in financial services or similar industry
