Posting Summary
The Department of Neuroscience and Cell Biology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School ( RWJMS) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in medical and graduate education. We seek a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and curricular innovation to join our collaborative academic team.

The successful candidate will support the school's educational mission by teaching clinically relevant basic science content in pre-clerkship courses, with a particular focus in neuroscience or gross anatomy and histology. Responsibilities will include coordinating small-group learning activities such as team-based learning ( TBL), case-based discussions, and laboratory sessions. The candidate will also contribute to teaching in the Master's in Biomedical Sciences program.

Required qualifications include a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent), teaching experience in neuroscience or anatomy at a medical or health-professional school, and evidence of excellence in teaching and course management. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Candidates from diverse backgrounds and those with a demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in education are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate expertise in active learning pedagogy and curricular integration, the ability to bridge foundational and clinical content, experience in course leadership and curriculum development, and a strong commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.
