Quality Technician

Duties:

Client is seeking an Quality Manager with experience in the food industry.

1. Responsible for day-to-day resolution of production quality related issues such as foreign material incidents.

2. Responsible for oversight of Quality Assurance Analysts and their training.

3. Back-up SQF Practitioner when Director of Quality is not present.

4. Maintenance of HOLD log and HOLD product, Incident Log.

5. Update and Maintain the Master SOP List.

6. Assist with Weekly EMP program and update EMP log and scheduling of courier pick-ups.

7. Oversee Product Retain and product destruct sample program.

8. Member of the HAACP/Food Safety Team.

9. Oversee the bi-weekly/monthly facility inspections.

10. Assist Director of Quality in maintaining the Food Safety Programs.

11. Maintain proper inventory of QA supplies for testing.

12. Assist Director of Quality with monthly Food Safety and GMP training.

13. Oversee the biweekly and monthly facility inspections.

14. Assist with document control and revisions to SOP's, Data sheets and other QA documents.

15. Oversee maintenance of Training Matrix and Training.

16. Oversee preparation of production daily record sheets.

Requirements:

Must have quality experience from a food manufacturing company.

4 year related Quality degree

SQF, PCQI, HACCP certifications preferred.

Supervisory/Management experience strongly preferred.

Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
