Job Summary:

As a member of NRG's highly effective investor relations team, the Senior Analyst will support the development and execution of strategic communications with the investment community. This role requires strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on preparing external-facing materials, managing earnings-related deliverables, and supporting investor engagement. This includes developing marketing materials and scripts while supporting the research, presentation, and communication needs of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other senior executives. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop a deep understanding of NRG's business and the broader energy landscape.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of NRG's investor relations strategy
  • Contribute to the development of strategic communications with the internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including the presentation, press release, executive transcripts, and Q&A briefing documents
  • Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc analytical and strategic projects
  • Coordinate logistics and content for investor meetings, including roadshows, conferences, office visits and Investor Days
  • Monitor industry and peer developments; evaluate reports and publications and communicate results
  • Partner with internal teams across the organization to promptly address both internal and external stakeholder questions
  • Track and distribute relevant news, analyst reports, and market commentary related to the company and peers

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment
  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in office (Princeton)
  • Extended hours and moderate travel may be required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business administration
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience; including investor relations, finance, accounting, communications, securities law, and/or regulatory
  • Experience in highly collaborative work environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the utility and power sectors preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
  • Attention to detail and proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a typical office environment with prolonged periods of computer use
  • Must be able to attend meetings in person and virtually as required
  • Occasional travel may be necessary

The base salary range for this position is: $112,750-$153,780* *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
