Overview

The Mortgage Construction & Specialty Processor assists with Construction Loans in the draw phase, transition to permanent financing phase, and Assumption applications to meet compliance and investor requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Draw Management - Review and process construction draw requests, verifying that work is complete and compliant with internal guidelines. Ensure timely and accurate release of funds in accordance with internal SLAs.

Permanent Financing and Assumption Processing -

    • Monitor loan application pipelines to initiate vendor orders including but not limited to appraisals, title work, flood certificates, tax transcripts.
    • Engage borrowers at determined milestones, including but not limited to Welcome, Conditional Approval, Follow-up, and Final Approval.
    • Oversee assigned loan application pipeline to ensure all compliance, commitment, and closing dates are met within determined Service Level Agreement timelines.
    • Organize and prioritize workload to manage timely re/submissions to underwriting and closing.
    • Reviews documentation provided by borrowers and third parties within determined Service Level Agreement timelines.
    • Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and borrowers to keep all parties updated on status of each loan application.
    • Proactively resolve transactions concerns with impacted parties, including but not limited to internal partners, borrowers, vendors, Realtors, Builders.
    • Prepare and deliver notifications for withdrawn and denied loan applications.

Quality Assurance - Maintain high accuracy in documentation and fund disbursements to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

Process Improvement - Recommend improvements to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance borrower and partner experience. Supports implementation of new procedures and practices introduced by Mortgage Leadership

Borrower & Partner Experience - Deliver elevated, solutions-oriented service to borrowers, builders, and loan officers. Act as a knowledgeable point of contact, providing status updates, guidance, and follow-through.

Brand Growth - Uphold brand values by ensuring every interaction reflects the organization's commitment to excellence, professionalism, and trust

JOB REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent professional, relevant experience.

Previous experience with Mortgage Construction & Specialty Operations, or similar industry, preferred. Mortgage experience required.

Exhibits a positive approach to work duties and seeks ways to find efficiencies, without sacrificing quality or process.

Must be comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Gives and receives constructive feedback.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Windows-based software.
