About The Job:

As Group Management Director - SVP, you'll spearhead multiple business portfolios, driving growth and client retention through strategic leadership and expertise in client engagement. You'll foster long-term relationships, champion learning and innovation, and inspire teams to deliver impactful brand solutions that meet client objectives. With a solutions-focused approach and confident decision-making, you'll lead the agency to excellence and drive business success.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead critical client meetings, fostering strong relationships and showcasing agency value.

  • Represent the agency with senior clients, providing expert brand and marketing guidance.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, optimizing client relationships and driving business results.

  • Develop and manage high-performing teams, prioritizing learning, productivity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Oversee P&L responsibility for assigned brands, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.

  • Drive strategic portfolio initiatives, translating expertise into innovative solutions that meet client needs.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, championing empathy, logic, and effective staffing management.

  • Pursue new business opportunities, driving organic growth and staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Make independent decisions, prioritizing client needs, agency growth, and long-term success.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership, ethics, and integrity, serving as a role model for the agency and industry.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).

  • 12+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a comparable role.

  • 12+ years in the pharmaceutical advertising industry (preferred).

  • Strong pharma advertising industry knowledge.

  • Proven experience managing large, diverse teams and clients.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Expertise in digital, media, social, analytics, and core marketing principles.

  • Independent decision-making and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic leadership qualities: solutions-orientation, open-mindedness, confidence, flexibility and curiosity.

Salary
$210,000 - $270,000
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
