Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. This position will support a statewide educational initiative focused on the development and launch of guidance materials for systems-level implementation efforts in New Jersey schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating project timelines, managing communication across stakeholders, and supporting the logistical and administrative aspects of project operations. This position is fully remote but requires attendance at weekly virtual project meetings and monthly New Jersey Department of Education (
NJDOE) meetings.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and approximately 8 events.
- Monitors project timelines and ensure progress toward key deliverables.
- Prepares and distributes meeting notes and follow-up action items.
- Organizes and maintains digital project files and documentation.
- Communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders via email and virtual platforms.
- Assists in the development of project materials and presentations as needed.
- Supports team members in managing multiple concurrent work streams.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. (Department Head approval required via attached form or
ROCS)

ROCS approval process so long as the Department Head is the Authorizer 2 or other role in the
ROCS approval process. No additional steps are needed for these requests. The fully remote

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative function; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace. Experience with or willingness to learn project coordination tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience or proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
- Prior experience in education, public health, or related fields.
