AsSr. Solutions Architect III, you'll be a technical lead to guide and oversee technical delivery across ServiceNow, cloud-native services, and FinOps product lines. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who brings deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have experience in DoD software development environments and act as the "Chief Unblocker," technical enabler, and Lean Agile leader who drives value delivery, product alignment, and team execution.

What you'll do:



  • Serve as the technical authority and thought leader across multiple digital product lines including ServiceNow, cloud-native applications, and FinOps platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a clear technical roadmap aligned to business priorities using Lean Agile methodologies and lean product management practices.
  • Act as the "Chief Unblocker," removing technical impediments, aligning cross-functional teams, and accelerating value delivery across Agile release trains.
  • Architect, design, and guide integration strategies for enterprise data flows across SaaS and non-SaaS platforms using modern APIs and middleware solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps pipelines, and scalable containerized platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS).
  • Lead the integration of ServiceNow with external systems, ensuring scalable ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB extensions.
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity, acquisition, and software factory requirements.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies that improve system reliability, cloud performance, and FinOps transparency.
  • Coach and mentor technical staff, supporting continuous learning and promoting architectural excellence.
  • Interface with product managers, designers, government stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and end-users to align technical solutions with mission and business objectives.


What you'll need to succeed:



  • You have an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT and software development, with 5+ years in a technical leadership or solution architecture role.
  • Proven track record delivering DoD software programs, including technical oversight and compliance with DoD acquisition pathways, RMF, and cyber requirements.
  • Experience across AWS GovCloud environments and cloud-native services.
  • Deep expertise with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, IaC (e.g., Terraform), and container orchestration platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SaaS products like ServiceNow with enterprise data systems.
  • Familiarity with FinOps principles, cloud cost visibility, and enabling financial accountability in technical teams.
  • Strong systems thinking, solution design, and technical storytelling capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Agile delivery and Lean Portfolio Management practices.
  • Expert in API-first integration design, event-driven architecture, and secure data exchange.
  • Strong communicator who can bridge technical and business domains across stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in fast-paced, multi-product environments.


SALARY RANGE: $166,000 - $227,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:



  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:


    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
