Electronic Data Interface Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Specialist in Sales and Distribution with a strong focus on Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). This role will serve as a key partner to Customer Care in the RCPS (Root Cause Problem Solving) process and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT developers. The ideal candidate will support driving the prioritization and coordination of new EDI setups and ongoing maintenance activities, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

RCPS Partnering
* Collaborate closely with Customer Care teams to identify, analyze, and resolve EDI-related issues using structured RCPS methodologies.
* Support root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve EDI performance and customer satisfaction

EDI Coordination & Prioritization
* Act as the go-to contact for EDI-related topics within Sales and Distribution.
* Partner with Customer Care and IT developers to align on technical feasibility, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Support facilitation of prioritization of new EDI setups and maintenance tasks based on business impact and urgency.

Stakeholder Engagement
* Serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Customer Care, Sales Operations, and IT.

Process Improvement
* Continuously assess and optimize EDI processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
* Contribute to documentation, training, and knowledge sharing related to EDI processes and tools.

Monitoring & Reporting
* Track and report on EDI performance metrics, issue resolution timelines, and project progress.
* Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in Sales & Distribution, Customer Care, or EDI coordination roles.
* Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12) and integration processes.
* Experience working with SAP SD module and EDI middleware tools is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving (RCPS experience preferred).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
